           Apostle Wooten is the founder of Gideon Christian Fellowship International, a multi-cultural church located in New Orleans, LA.  Prior to the establishment of Gideon Christian Fellowship, Apostle Wooten pioneered home Bible studies and provided oversight for approximately 40 such studies.  Along with his apostolic responsibilities at Gideon, he serves as an apostle for ministries in the United States, Canada, South Africa and India.  He is also a member of ICA, the International Coalition of Apostles, under the leadership of Apostle C. Peter Wagner.

                 In 2005, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed Gideon Christian Fellowship International’s facilities; nevertheless, Apostle Wooten continued the work of the ministry from Baton Rouge, LA, where he resided for two years.  Through God’s faithfulness, in November 2007, the church reopened in New Orleans.

Apostle Wooten ministers with a powerful apostolic and pastoral anointing.  His passion is to equip, train and release the saints to do the work of the ministry and to fulfill the call of God on their lives.  He has a burning desire to raise up apostolic houses of prayer for all nations and to restore nations back to their moral and godly foundations.  With a strong prophetic voice, he has been a righteous influence in the governmental arena and has been instrumental in preventing ungodly laws from being enacted within Louisiana and throughout the United States.  In 2006, the Louisiana Legislature presented Apostle Wooten with a certificate as an honorary senator because of  his impact in the state of Louisiana.

      Apostle Wooten is the author of “Breaking the Curse off Black America,” a God-given revelation concerning the maledictions of African-Americans and God’s desire for confession, repentance and prayer to take place in order for this ethnic group to truly be free.

       Apostle Wooten is married to Kathleen Wooten and they have two wonderful children, Sean, an engineer and Dr. Tracy Wooten.

                  Lynease Beacher is a native of New Orleans and is an ordained minister, serving as a member of Gideon Christian Fellowship International since 1991.  She worked in corporate America for 30 years and, after the company relocated to Houston, TX in 2003, she began working in full-time ministry and became the director and co-founder of Gideon Christian Fellowship’s School of Apostolic/Prophetic Ministries.  Prior to Hurricane Katrina, the school produced over 250 graduates. 

                 Lynease serves on the governing Board of Elders and oversees the Women’s Ministry, Music Ministry, Youth Ministry, Intercessors Ministry and Adult Christian Education.  She is a member of ICA, the International Coalition of Apostles, under the leadership of Apostle C. Peter Wagner and she is also an executive member of IbM, International Breakthrough Ministries, under the leadership of Apostle Barbara Wentroble.

Lynease works closely, Apostle Willie F. Wooten, serving as his Literary Works executive director.  She has traveled to Canada,  South Africa, Hong Kong, and many places within the United Stated, prophesying and ministering the word of God.  Her passion is to see people healed, delivered and moving in the power of  their God-given gifts.
