Rosh Kadosh, the new moon, the new month, the month of Kislev begins on the eve of November 18th. This is a first fruit’s gathering to begin the new month by giving God our first and our best. He will then bless the rest! This will be a time to corporately “prepare the way for the King of Glory to come in.”
This Saturday, November 21 will be our first First Fruits’ Gathering in several months! This is an important time as we have entered into the new season, the new decade.First Fruits is the time to give God our first and best and He will bless the rest! David first “missed the boat” in trying to bring back the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem.
He hadn’t learned the proper way to do it and so two men were killed. In holy awe and reverential fear, David researched for the proper protocol and found it. The results were amazing as God showed Himself strong on David’s behalf. He won victory after victory in his conquests of the land the Lord had promised to the Israelites. King David was a worshipper of God; he had prepared a place right in his own yard. He wanted God close; “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you….” James 4:8a
In His Presence is “fullness of joy, at His right hand are pleasures forever more.” Psalms 16:11b,c
The Lord is gathering His people in clusters for it is in the cluster that the new wine is found. Creating new wine for the wedding feast was the beginning of miracles Jesus performed in Cana. John 2:1 I led a strategic, prophetic team to 4 cities in Indiana to “Break open the state for the new wine and for the release of signs, wonders and miracles.” In His Presence, miracles take place.
Come if you are hungry for more of Him; come if you are thirsty and dry, your thirst will be quenched as the “rivers of living waters” from the Holy Spirit pour forth on God’s people. Filled and refreshed, satisfied and your cup overflowing, you will take it throughout the state and be a “Presence” distributor. Indiana is thirsty for more of the Lord; hungry for signs, wonders and miracles and not just for excitement, but to see the King of Glory’s Presence being established in our homes, churches, schools, businesses; in our cities and the urban areas; all throughout our state.
Why did I choose Greenwood? In July of this year, the Lord began to stir my spirit regarding Greenwood. As I prayed and sought Him, I saw Holy Spirit brooding over the city. We read in Genesis 1:2, “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering (brooding) over the face of the waters.” I knew the Lord was about to move on this city, so I contacted the only church and pastors I knew in the city to ask if they would host a First Fruits’ Gathering. We tried two different dates and they weren’t working, finally the pastor called me and said, we really do want you to come, can we get a date. November 21 was the date and it worked for both of us. Prior to the pastor calling me, I was telling the Lord if my timing is off, please show me. He then showed me His fire hovering over the city, it then took the form of a circle of fire and encircled this church. I learned they have been faithfully prayer walking neighborhoods and the streets and have already had breakthroughs. I believe this is the right place for this meeting and am looking forward to what the Lord will do.
Make this declaration this week and continue on as we “plant the heavens” for our future:

Apostle Wooten is the founder of Gideon Christian Fellowship International, a multi-cultural church located in New Orleans, LA.Prior to the establishment of Gideon Christian Fellowship, Apostle Wooten pioneered home Bible studies and provided oversight for approximately 40 such studies.Along with his apostolic responsibilities at Gideon, he serves as an apostle for ministries in the United States, Canada, South Africa and India.He is also a member of ICA, the International Coalition of Apostles, under the leadership of Apostle C. Lynease Beacher is a native of New Orleans and is an ordained minister, serving as a member of Gideon Christian Fellowship International since 1991.She worked in corporate America for 30 years and, after the company relocated to Houston, TX in 2003, she began working in full-time ministry and became the director and co-founder of Gideon Christian Fellowship’s School of Apostolic/Prophetic Ministries.Prior to Hurricane Katrina, the school produced over 250 graduates.
Lynease serves on the governing Board of Elders and oversees the Women’s Ministry, Music Ministry, Youth Ministry, Intercessors Ministry and Adult Christian Education.She is a member of ICA, the International Coalition of Apostles, under the leadership of Apostle C. Peter Wagner and she is also an executive member of IbM, International Breakthrough Ministries, under the leadership of Apostle Barbara Wentroble.
Lynease works closely, Apostle Willie F. Wooten, serving as his Literary Works executive director.She has traveled to Canada,South Africa, Hong Kong, and many places within the United Stated, prophesying and ministering the word of God.Her passion is to see people healed, delivered and moving in the power oftheir God-given gifts.
God’s promises are true and they are for His faithful followers! This is a powerful and encouraging word for us in the day in which we are currently living.

He is our Rock, our Fortress, our Shield, the Horn of our Salvation among other things wonderful and powerful! Worthy of all Praise, Honor and Glory!
As we move into another month on the Hebrew calendar; this time is one of greater intensity. On the 9th of AV called Tish B’Av, we have much to be aware of, consider and watching over. This is the date on which both times the temple was destroyed among other things. What you may or may not have been aware, this was the very date that Katrina hit our shores and did great devastation. Much of that has never been recovered and multitudes of lives were gone or changed forever. Some are still trying to recover spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally and financially.
I am calling this First Fruit’s Gathering to the people of God to come together and worship; join forces against the plans of the evil one! We do not want to come into agreement with his plans, or become complacent. Much is at stake including the nation of Israel, our nation and our heritage. We will worship in unity and celebrate the One True God, the God of Israel!
Carmen O’Riley, Worship and Dance Team Leader of ShaarayYeshua Congregation will be leading worship. Bring your flags, banners, tambourines, and most especially your shofars, your voice and dancing feet. Bring your first fruits’ offering and the first name(s) of any prodigals for whom you are praying. We have an altar set up and a group of faithful praying warriors praying for these. I have seen the first fruit of the prayers we prayed last month; my youngest son has returned to the Lord and is growing, studying and reading the Word. It’s time to call them “out of darkness and into His marvelous light.”
